This group was formed in 2009 with the first Bushcare Officer being Nathan Summers. The first volunteers in attendance were Hilary Stewart, Anitra Nelson, Steven Ridd & Lesley Sammon.

The higher parts of the site are open forest with stands of Eucalyptus piperita, Eucalyptus sieberi and Eucalyptus oreades. The lower areas are cleared bushland which had large areas of Blackberry and Periwinkle extending from the fences of the residential properties in Kundibar St westerly down the site.

In 2010 Monica Nugent was appointed Bushcare Officer for the Group.

The area was then divided into 3 zones:

1. Kundibar (Top station)

2. Pine St (Lower station)

3. Frank Walford Picnic Area

In 2014 Jane Anderson was appointed Bushcare Officer for the Group.

Weeds treated have included Blackberry, Periwinkle, Cotoneaster, Holly, Scotch Broom, Ivy, Cherry Laurel, Honeysuckle, Dandelion, Montbretia, Privet.
